Wind down (or up?!) to Christmas...

Well - with Christmas less than 2 weeks away, school is winding down to and there are heaps of activities to try and keep up with.

Kendall had a trip to A&E 2 weeks ago after trying to break a fall and ended up with a cast on her arm. Her bone did not appear broken, but 'bent'. The large cast came off on Wednesday, to be replaced with a smaller, far more attractive coloured number which will come off on Christmas Eve. She has been fortunate enough to wear mufti at school while the big cast was on as her uniform sleeve would not go over the elbow!

A couple of weeks ago we went to SPC where the parents were subjected to some dancing displays from the 'houses' then groups of children entertained everyone with singing, dancing and music.

On Monday Brianna and all the Year 8 kids headed to Waimarino Adventure Park (near Tauranga) for a day of kayaking etc. Ian also went over with them, and said it was great fun.

James also went to camp last week for four days, staying at Aongatete Lodge in the Kaimai-Mamaku Ranges, and enjoyed a bit of kayaking (also at Waimarino), tramping, paintball etc.

He has now finished school for the year - the girls have another week to go, and in that week there are numerous shared lunches, secret santa gifts, prizegiving and a year 8 formal + Ian's birthday - it's gonna be a busy week!!

I'm going to make K write something now ......my pink and purple coloured cast, what a lovely combination, do you like it???? at school we got our reports on friday afternoon, if you wantto see how bad i have been at school ... see below for a bit of my report:D
